An excellent communications plan can be a game changer for your organization. When executives are making contact with their audiences, the impact can send business soaring. But a bad communications plan is like having a good idea and trying to explain it with your head underwater.
In 2013, I created an expansive communications strategy for The Navigators. Can I do the same for you?
"I recently completed my five-year tenure as Vice President and Director of the Military Ministry of The Navigators, supervising over 400 staff and a $10 million annual budget. Mia served as my Director of Communications and Executive Administrator. In that role, she had direct oversight of our communications processes and products, marketing initiatives, and skillfully guided my strategic messages. I’ve always been impressed with her tremendous character, profound gift of articulation, and innate leadership.
Mia resurrected the Military Mission’s communication cornerstone, “Frontline”, which included overseeing the entire “Frontline” process. She hired a writing team, coordinated the IT development side, and established an editorial calendar that would see us through for the next year. She also expanded our audience from primarily just staff to donors and military families — all while saving the organization thousands of dollars in materials.
Mia’s professionalism, personality, and passion make her a valued colleague and true inspiration to all those are around her."
- Dave Mead, former Vice President and Director of the Military Ministry of The Navigators
Maintaining an interesting and informative blog is vital for any organization. Here's the blog I maintained in 2013.
Never underestimate the power of a good press release! Press releases give your organization a chance to get the big news out first.
